Mentee Question
I have total experience of 3.3 years as a frontend developer. I had started in 2020 as a fresher and worked for product based startup till Dec 2023. I am struggling to clear my interviews. I want to understand how can I overcome this rejection and get a job ASAP. Can you please help me with this and Is there a way to have 1:1 call with you, before taking this subscription?

It's understandable to feel disappointed after multiple rejections, but don't lose hope. With 3.3 years of experience, you have a strong foundation - now it's about strategically guiding your preparation. Here are my top tips:
1. Analyze patterns in the types of questions you struggled with. Is there a particular topic or concept you get stumped on frequently? Focus on your studies there.
2. Explore resources for practice questions so you enter interviews more confidently in various areas. LeetCode, CodeWars, Frontend Mentor, etc.
3. Ensure your projects demonstrate capabilities critical for your desired roles. Review job descriptions and tailor code samples.
4. Don't rely solely on technical skills - brush up on communication expertise too. Interviewers evaluate overall fit. Record your answers to common questions to improve delivery.
5. Run mock interviews with developer friends or mentors for honest feedback on areas needing improvement. Identify those key next steps.
6. Expand your network reaching out to communities, conferences, and colleagues about opportunities. The more connections, the better.
I'm happy to dig deeper into any part of this guidance in a free 30-minute consultation call. We can identify your biggest obstacles and the right strategies so you can get the job you deserve.

Hi Saloni,
You've already taken the first step to overcome this. That is realising that you need help and not procrastinating.
The next steps would include a deeper self analysis and guidance on the where is it going wrong -
Is it technical skill?
Is it interview anxiety?
Is it communication ?
Is it because the difficulty level is too high?
Or is it a mix of everything ?
Once we have these answers. A good plan and the right Goals will help you clear the interviews.
Also, 1:1 Trial calls are free before subscription. You can book one here

- i propose the following way to find the issue - can arrange a front end engineer who takes your interview based on your known tech stack
- after the interview you will get the right feedback.
- based on feedback , we can work towards strengthening your opportunity areas
