I would prefer do frontend first.
Frontemd career scope is bright in coming era, as AR and VR is rising and we need frontend there.

Both frontend and backend have a lot of scope in the next 5 years. As browsers and systems are getting more powerful, a lot of business logic is getting moved to client to keep servers simple in certain type of applications while we do have many problems where having an intelligent, scalable and available servers is the right path. I would encourage you to become a full stack developer with deep expertise in atleast 1 of them. We can connect to discuss more.
