Hi Tapas,

Arvind has already covered the steps you can expect in an internship interview process. If in the roadmap you also wish to know the steps on how to approach for an internship, below steps will guide you:

  1. Brush up on DSA: Start with basics and progress through time complexity, sorting, searching, various paradigms, graphs, greedy algorithms, and dynamic programming; I assume you get the gist.
  2. Do Side Projects: Work on 1-2 projects in your area of interest. This sets you apart from other applicants, improves practical skills, and demonstrates your passion for engineering.
  3. Focus on Courses: Pay close attention to courses like Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, and Computer Networks during your college years.
  4. Polish Your Resume: Craft an impressive resume highlighting skills, projects, and relevant coursework. Follow best practices and consider using LaTeX for formatting.
  5. Internship Hunt: You can explore multiple channels for internships
  6. Set up interest-based alerts on LinkedIn and Internshala.
  7. Connect with peers on LinkedIn and request referrals.
  8. Encourage your college's career cell to approach companies for internship opportunities.
  9. Apply widely to relevant internship positions, and try to customize your applications based on each company's listed requirements.

I hope that answers your query, all the best :)

Regards,

Aman
