My typical day usually has a blend of structure and flexibility. I start with a clear plan — reviewing priorities, checking in with mentees, or working on ongoing projects. A good portion of the day is spent guiding learners, reviewing their progress, and helping them troubleshoot challenges. I also make time for my own learning and staying updated, because a mentor should keep evolving too.

Of course, not every day goes exactly as planned. Some days get hectic when multiple people need support at the same time, or when an unexpected challenge comes up that requires deeper attention. But I’ve learned to see those unpredictable moments as opportunities — they often spark the most meaningful learning and growth, both for me and the people I mentor.
