You need to pay attention to how you show off your skills and projects.
Companies look for talent and if you can show them that you are the right candidate, then no issues.
How to do this ?
- Create Projects and have them on ur git repo
- Try solving open source issues. This will dramatically improve your changes
- For every project in your cv, add a repo link and if possible a working application link or demo video of working application
- I have seen many coders who are in college and learning full stack. They make short videos on Insta of whatever they learn.
All this will make your profile standout.
In the interview if the interviewer ask anything about the career gap then you can defend it if you have done above steps
