Mentee Question

Asked by HARSH SAHU

How to be consistent throughout the journey?

Mentors Answer

Answered By Mentor Shivali Maheshwari

Hi Harsh,

To maintain consistency in your preparation journey, set clear goals, create a realistic schedule, and prioritize tasks. Break your goals into smaller, manageable steps, and track your progress. Stay motivated by reminding yourself of your reasons for pursuing your goal. Eliminate distractions, build a supportive environment, and establish a routine. Embrace discipline over motivation, and don't be too hard on yourself if you stumble – learn from setbacks and keep moving forward. Seek accountability through a mentor, and regularly review and adjust your plan as needed. Consistency is key, so commit to your journey and persevere despite challenges.

Hi Harsh,

Don't over commit. You can plan small amount of time for your preparation and follow that consistently, instead of planning on investing a lot more hours and not be able to work on that. Make this your mantra for success.

Hope it helps.

Consistency of any Journey is related to; Fire for the pursuit, Workable Goals, Motivation, Structured approach, Flexibility to Learning, proper review, and adapting to required adjustment of plan/strategy as we move on.

# Having fire for the pursuit depends on your attitude to life.

# Goals should be SMART.

# Connect with newly added knowledge to keep motivated. Seek guidance as it is not a sin.

# Keep a structured approach with; discipline, routines, fact-based approach etc

# Learning is a process of; adding and removing, so be ready to unlearn also.

# Plan & check on how far and how you have traveled vs the initial plan to understand the plus and minus of the travel so far. Understand the probability of achieving the ultimate goal of the travel.

# Be adaptive to the required changes after reviews
