Before appearing for an Interview do reserach wrt to the requirements of the role and the skills and qualifications. Now from your internships/student life /work life add projects that have those attributes which are a requirement . Build them in your profile and quantify your value add .

It's a tricky one but the person who's interviewing you already knows this about you through your CV so the main reason for him/her to ask this question is to understand the following 3 things:

1. Do you even know what you are getting into?
2. Do you have the right attitude to take this leap?
3. Will you be able to grasp the sector change and not get baffled in this big change?

From you, what's expected is your reasoning for change - and can be very simple straightforward answers from your childhood, school, college or your recent work experience that led you to believe that this is your calling and you believe you'll do much better in this domain/sector (justify it with examples of your attitude/exposure if not experience).
