If you are already good in it and in practice, it won't take more than a month to cracking interviews but it is quite subjective. Answering this question without any data points will be wrong here. It actually depends on your current level of preparation. Let's say in DSA you are just a beginner, so I would say if you give your best efforts, follow the plan that I provide successfully, you will be ready for big product companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft in 8-9 months. Please note to achieve it in this much time you HAVE to follow the roadmap within given deadlines. And obviously it is achievable because others have done it under my guidance (my college juniors and friends)

And obviously if you are not an absolute beginner, it would take lesser time.

And I am talking about the best case here. If you are targeting less difficult companies the time would also reduce.

Coming towards starting salary, it varies based on your level. If you are very good at these things and crack the top companies, you easily get a base salary of 20-25 lacs per annum (excluding bonus) for freshers. I know people who get around 35 lacs of base salary!

However it can go as low as to 3-4 lacs per annum if you are not that good.

So at the end it depends on your skill and level of expertise. That will define what kind of pay you will get.
