In my career, I have seen multiple profiles with more than 7 year gap, got the job in big companies. I would say the gap is not necessary in this current world if you are strong enough with your basics and your profile is good enough to get you short listed for the interviews.

I would say probably Python, SQL and Power BI are not completely enough to crack the job. May be you need to do some certifications, brush up your skills, upskill yourself with cloud technologies which will suit the python coding langauges and then update your profile regularly on Naukri.

I see multiple companies on linkedin who are looking for profiles with this skill set who can join immediately irrespective of the gap in the career.

Doing an MCA/MTech or any higher education will only help if you do it in top most universities. It might not help if you do in small collages other than wasting time, money and energy.

7 years gap is really big gap and most of the interviewers would ask you what you were doing during this duration. you have to be prepared for the same. Start looking for a start up or small company to get a kick start, once you have experience that gap wont matter much, still you have to keep answer ready whenever you are switching. To give a kick start dont wait for a big break now as you lost time. Start with any job and keep on preparing for your target.
