Hello,

Software engineering is not doomed but we do have a word to call it which is 'Recession' and this is not the first time of it. We already had got a bigger recession before during 2006-08 year and we all had come out of it together. Even now, we can do the same by increasing the technical skills, doing certifications, competiting with the other folks and many more.

Coming to your other question, I would say AI, ML, Cloud are currently booming with hefty pay cheques and many opportunities across the companies. I am coming in with 12+ year experience with DWH and cloud and I can train you with Azure and its services so that you can crack the interviews within a period of 6 months and get placed into top MnCs. I do have connects and I can refer you across the organizations as well.

Please look at my profile and try to book a trail session with me which is free of cost for you to take this discussion further.

Thank You,

Vikesh

Hey

Since you're in college, why not explore multiple domains? Whether it's web dev, devops, Android, or ML, try diving into what interests you most rather than chasing the paycheck. Trust me, almost all the domains pay well if you're really good with your skills.

Focus on nailing those fundamentals—think algorithms, data structures, all that good stuff. Mastering these basics is like having a golden ticket in the tech world.

Shoot me a message if you need more advice.
