Yes Soham Sahu, you should definitely include internships you've completed for a company in the work experience section of your resume. Internships are valuable experiences that demonstrate your ability to work in a professional environment, your industry-specific skills, and your commitment to your career path.

As for the technical skills required before joining a product-based company, it largely depends on the specific role and the company, but generally, these skills are highly valued:

  1. Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is crucial.
  2. Data Structures and Algorithms: A strong understanding is essential for solving complex problems efficiently.
  3. Version Control Systems: Experience with Git or other version control systems is often required.
  4. Database Management: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases can be pivotal.
  5. APIs: Understanding how to create and integrate APIs is beneficial.
  6. Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud can be advantageous.
  7. DevOps Tools: Skills in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines are increasingly important.
  8. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and effective communication are equally important.

Hi Soham, Yes you can definitely include internships in the "Work Experience" section of your resume. Be sure to mention the company name, duration of the internship, your role, and key responsibilities or projects you worked on during that time.

Tech skills required before joining a product-based company often include:

  1. Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or others depending on the company's tech stack.
  2. Database Management: Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  3. DSA

For project topics that can be relevant for product-based roles interviews, consider these ideas:

  1. E-commerce Platform: Build a scalable e-commerce website with features like user authentication, product listings, cart management, and payment integration.
  2. Social Media Dashboard: Create a dashboard that aggregates social media data (like posts, likes, comments) from multiple platforms using APIs and displays analytics.
  3. Inventory Management System: Develop an inventory management system for tracking stock levels, orders, and supplier information, with reporting capabilities.
