I have been really passionate about teaching since my college days.
Getting my dream job was easy because I had a mentor, this also made me realise the immense value and impact a mentor can have on someone's life.
I always looked up to my mentor and once I got my dream job I wanted to help other candidates too who were aspiring for FAANG companies.
And this is how my journey as a mentor began.
I was fortunate to have a remarkable mentor during my pre-final and final years of college.
He not only helped me with the technical aspects but also motivated and guided me to make the right decisions.
I still reach out to him every now and then with questions. I am so grateful for my mentor and wish to become the same for others.
I personally believe each mentorship success story is unique and holds its own significance.
Witnessing their progress as they overcome challenges and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding.
Consistency is the key and I firmly believe that you can achieve anything and everything with consistency.

Mentors have played a significant role in my personal and professional development, providing me with valuable guidance and support.
Through my interactions with mentors, I have gained numerous benefits such as expanding my network, gaining insights into their work and experiences, and learning from their success and failure stories.
One of my most rewarding mentorship experiences was during the COVID-19 phase when I had the opportunity to assist job seekers.
I guided them in preparing their CVs, optimising their LinkedIn profiles, and preparing for interviews. Witnessing their progress and eventual success was truly fulfilling.
Set both short-term and long-term goals that are achievable and realistic and do thorough planning to accomplish them.

Back when I was a fresher there were hardly any resources available to prepare for interviews or level up professionally.
But these days, things have changed.
Today, many people are generously sharing their experiences and knowledge about careers, interviews, and compensation. It's amazing to see how much information is available now.
But I have seen that this information at times can lead individuals demotivated and confused about how to land their dream job.
This is where my experience comes in.
After having worked at several Product Based companies and especially Big Tech companies (FAANG), I am eager to share my insights on how to and how NOT to answer interview questions when you are applying for your dream company.
I have experienced a real-time impact in my life as a budding engineer or fresher thanks to the guidance and support of my mentors.
They made me realise that I am capable of achieving anything that I want. The opportunity to grow and learn alongside my mentors has been invaluable.
One of my mentees has always been very vocal about the importance of mentoring not only in improving his performance and confidence during interviews but also in his development skills within his current role.
He felt he was maturing as a developer and started appreciating his work even better.
You need to take control of what you want and be willing to make sacrifices to achieve it.
If you want to succeed in interviews for product-based companies and are unsure how to do so, all you need to do is to make up your mind and put in the effort.
A good mentor can guide you but success entirely depends on your efforts, and sooner or later, it will pay off.
